Fundraising Activity: Door-to-Door and Local Business Collection
Overview
As part of the ongoing fundraising efforts for the Ummah Center Masjid and Community Centre, a dedicated door-to-door collection campaign was carried out in the Carwood Grove area and surrounding neighbourhoods.
The initiative was led by Zamin Gul and Kabir Jan, with the support of Khalid Arsalan, Abdul Kabir Nasir, and other volunteers who devoted their time to engaging with local residents and businesses. Volunteers visited homes to distribute information leaflets, encourage community participation, and invite residents to support the project through donations and standing orders.
The team also visited local shops and businesses throughout the Pitsmoor (Spital Hill) area, where many community members responded generously to the appeal.

Community Engagement
The campaign provided an opportunity to connect directly with local residents and businesses, raising awareness about the Ummah Center project and its long-term benefits for the community.
Through personal visits, leaflet distribution, and conversations with neighbours and business owners, the volunteers helped strengthen community support for the vision of establishing a permanent centre for worship, education, and community development.
