Executive Summary
During the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023, the Ummah Center received £14,000 in eligible donations from 13 donors towards the purchase of a permanent building for the Ummah Center Masjid and Community Centre.
As eligible donations were made under the Gift Aid scheme, the charity is able to claim an additional 25% from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). This represents an additional £3,500 in Gift Aid, increasing the total value of contributions to £17,500 at no extra cost to the donors.

Purpose of the Donations
The funds raised support the acquisition and development of a permanent facility for the Ummah Center Masjid, providing a dedicated place for worship and community activities. The project aims to establish a long-term community asset that serves the religious, educational, and social needs of Muslims in the local area.
The facility will be used to:
- Provide a place for daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayers, and other acts of Islamic worship.
- Facilitate the celebration of Islamic festivals and religious occasions, including Eid gatherings and community events.
