Executive Summary
The Ummah Center is pleased to present this Gift Aid Donations Report covering contributions received from mosques, Islamic centres, community organisations, market collections, businesses, and individual supporters between January and March 2025.
These donations were raised in support of the acquisition and development of the Ummah Center Masjid and Community Centre, a permanent facility dedicated to worship, education, community development, and charitable activities.
During this period, a total of £16,587.62 was raised. Through the Gift Aid scheme, the charity may reclaim an additional £4,146.91, increasing the total charitable value of these contributions to £20,734.53.

Campaign Purpose
This fundraising campaign was undertaken to support the Ummah Center's vision of establishing a permanent Islamic centre and masjid that serves the religious, educational and social needs of the community.
The project will help provide:
- Facilities for daily prayers and Jumu'ah congregations.
- Islamic education for children, youth and adults.
- Community programmes and family activities.
- Religious celebrations and Eid gatherings.
- Youth engagement and mentoring initiatives.
- Charitable and welfare projects.
- A safe, welcoming and accessible centre for the wider community.
Gift Aid Impact
Gift Aid enables eligible donations to go even further by allowing charities to reclaim tax from HM Revenue & Customs.
For this fundraising campaign:
- Donations received: £16,587.62
- Additional Gift Aid: £4,146.91
- Total benefit to the Ummah Center: £20,734.53
This additional funding strengthens the Ummah Center Building Fund and contributes directly towards creating a lasting place of worship and community service for future generations.
